How do customers earn and spend points?
They earn points on every paid order at the rate you set, such as 1 point per dollar. They swap points for a Shopify discount code (money off, percent off or free shipping) from the Rewards button or their account page. Refunds and cancellations take the points back automatically.
Do points expire?
You decide. On Starter and above you can set points to expire after a number of months without activity, and customers get a reminder email 14 days before. On the Free plan points never expire.
What does it cost?
Free for up to 100 customers. Paid plans start at $14.99 a month and add referrals, emails, campaigns and expiry, then VIP tiers and birthday bonuses on Growth, with a 14-day free trial. Billed through Shopify, with no per-transaction fees.
Will it work with my theme?
Yes. The Rewards button and points badge are theme app blocks, so they work with Online Store 2.0 themes. You switch them on in the theme editor, with no code.
Can I move my customers from another loyalty app?
Yes. On Growth and Pro, upload a CSV of emails and points balances. Each customer is credited once, so uploading the same file twice is safe.
What happens to customer data if I uninstall?
Shopify asks us to erase it and we do so automatically. Customers can also request their data or erasure at any time.
